RSPB Ambassador
Being an ambassador for the RSPB is a huge honour for Steve. Nature has always inspired him, and supporting the RSPB allows him to help protect wildlife and habitats for future generations. It’s an opportunity to use his voice to encourage others to connect with nature and understand the importance of protecting our planet.
Rotary Ambassabor
Steve is proud to be a Rotary ambassador, supporting their mission to create positive, lasting change in communities. For him, Rotary represents compassion, service, and connection – values he holds deeply. By sharing his experiences and championing their projects, Steve helps inspire others to take action and make a real difference.
Panathlon Ambassador
As an ambassador for Panathlon, Steve helps create opportunities for young people with disabilities to experience the joy of sport. Seeing their smiles, pride, and growing confidence is inspiring. Supporting Panathlon allows him to help break barriers and show that sport truly is for everyone.
Swale Youth Development Fund Patron
As Patron of the Swale Youth Development Fund, Steve continues the legacy started by his grandfather, Richard Morton, during his time as Mayor 40 years ago. Supporting young people in his local area to grow, gain confidence, and achieve their dreams is incredibly rewarding and something Steve is deeply proud of.
Alongside this, Steve works with numerous other charities and good causes across sport, wildlife, and his local community. Whether supporting grassroots sports clubs, raising awareness for conservation projects, or helping local initiatives grow, Steve is passionate about using his time and platform to make a positive difference wherever he can, creating meaningful change beyond his formal roles.
